How to Make An Appointment
To make an appointment with Dr Sushama Deshpande at the Unique Pain Solutions Clinic select which Clinic Location you would like to visit from our contact page.
Call your selected clinic to book an appointment. Our team will give you a selection of available dates and times to choose from.
Patients wishing to use medicare will need to obtain a referral to see Dr Sushama Deshpande from your GP or Specialist prior to your appointment. Referral Forms can be found here.
Patients visiting the clinic using DVA, Workers Compensation, private health or another form of funding should obtain approval prior to the appointment.
On the Day of Your First Appointment
Your first appointment will likely be an assessment with Dr Sushama Deshpande, taking between 45min to an hour. A full medical history and assessment will be conducted. You will receive recommendations and a comprehensive treatment plan at the end of this session. The doctor will write back to your referring GP to update them on the treatment plan going forward. Your next appointment will be booked according to this plan.
What to Bring to Your Pain Clinic Appointment
- Your referral (if it is handwritten and hasn’t already been forwarded to the clinic.
- A list of your current medications with dosage information.
- Any relevant medical imaging and reports.
